The business name, Born & Raised Renovation, is an ode to Christopher’s father Ed, and his upbringing. He was born in a 19th century brownstone in Brooklyn, New York whose father owned and operated a small painting and carpentry business.

Some of Christopher’s earliest memories were the opportunity to play around and explore in a gut renovation that his father worked on at nights and weekends in that same brownstone he lived in whilst running his business during the day.

By the time, he was barely double digits in age, he was sweeping up his father’s job sites for a couple of bucks and painting closets as that is the only thing hid Dad trusted him with at such a young age. His father was able to instill in him from a young age how important it was to be detailed and meticulous about the product they were putting forward.

And ultimately, the power of how the most minute detail can leave a lasting impression on a renovation for generations to come. Fast forward almost three decades later and Christopher is still applying those ideals his father impressed upon him to his clients today.
